American Diabetes Associations - While death rates due to cancer, heart disease, and stroke have all declined in the last 20 years, diabetes rates continue to climb. Please give a donation, and join the fight to STOP DIABETES®.

Clearwater for Youth (CFY) College Scholarship - CFY began in 1966 as a Football and Cheerleading program sponsored by the P.A.L. In 1972 CFY was incorporated as a not for profit, tax deductible organization…helping our community youth reach their fullest potential through enriching and productive activities.  The emphasis has always been on supporting programs that emphasize character building, sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls in football, cheerleading, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, karate, golf and more have all been helped through the support of CFY.  Clearwater for Youth's mission is to help ensure “no child is turned away” due to financial concerns and to elevate youth sports in our community and beyond by offering scholarship opportunities, grant programs and matching fund opportunities to area youth programs and participants in need.

Rebuilding New Orleans (Habitat for Humanity) - New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity offers opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building.

Moffitt Cancer Center - Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute began its research efforts in 1993 and by 1998 achieved National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation. Today, research at Moffitt includes more than 135 investigators organized around six scientific programs, all with an emphasis on translation. In October 2006, the NCI renewed Moffitt’s Comprehensive Cancer Center status and its Cancer Center Support Grant for five years. Among the factors and accomplishments over the past five years that the NCI cited were:

  • Doubling of overall research funding at Moffitt
  • A 130-percent increase in new patients referred to Moffitt
  • Development of early-phase Moffitt investigator-initiated studies
  • An increase in accrual to therapeutic phase I, I/II and II clinical trials
